This jetta is in amazing condition both visually, cosmetically and mechanically. Few other cars offer this kind of longevity, efficiency or durability. It was rated by the EPA to get 50 MPG highway it is does that still to this day. The 1.6 indirect injection non turbo diesel engine is ideal for a wvo/svo grease conversions. Beautiful original tornado red paint, completely rust free. Runs excellent, has 180k miles, starts easily, absolutely no smoke. Brand new timing belt, brand new injection pump, new head gasket, new tires, recent brakes, exhaust system, service history folder. It is a beautiful turn key 1.6 diesel non turbo car. 5 spd manual transmission. The only thing I can fault it for is the headliner is defective. Mechanically it needs nothing and runs like a clock without even a wisp of smoke. Seats/interior are in fantastic original shape. Must see/hear to realize how nice it is. Looking to sell as I came across the tdi passat wagon I've been searching for. $3500 takes it away.

radio lights up and seems to work but makes no sound, think it's just wiring to the speakers possibly
and the ebrake cable is broken but repairable and not an immediate concern
and just had a fresh oil change
also has new exhaust, air cleaner, starter,alternator and ALL new glow plugs , starts right up! runs VERY good

I have a 1988 Chevy 2500 with the 6.2 litre diesel. It is 4wd and the 4x4 does work. Body in rough shape but just did axles, hub assemblies, front shocks, front brakes, rebuilt front differential, and put new flowmaster on it. Needs pitman arm before winter if a plow is going to be used. Truck has 198k. Just replaced Brake lines, serpentine belt, idler pully.
