Hi everyone, please mark your calendars and share with others!

The New Britain Mayor's Advisory Committee on AIDS (MAC), HRA of New Britain, Inc., Health & Wellness Division and the New Britain Health Department will be hosting an Awareness Activity to commemorate World AIDS Day on Friday, November 30th, from 12-2p.m. at Trinity-on-Main, 69 Main Street, New Britain, CT. The event is FREE. All are welcome to attend.

There will be food, spiritual music, live poetry, resource tables, door raffles, and much, much more!

This year's World AIDS Day global theme is "Getting to Zero." The theme is about reducing new HIV infections, discrimination and AIDS related deaths to zero through increased advances and equal access to HIV prevention, testing, treatment and care.

To make it a success we need your help. We are looking for any monetary contribution to help defray some of the expenses. Checks can be made payable to the "New Britain Mayors Advisory Committee on AIDS." We welcome gift cards, items for door raffle, food platters, paper plates, napkins, soda, bottled water and your left over Halloween candy.

For more information please call (860) 826-4482- Ext 2, email me at work or you may also respond to this posting. Thank you of our efforts to this community activity! We hope to see you there!
